Workshops Afro Swing & Marrabenta with Judith Novela

On October the 8th, we welcome Judith Novela in Ghent! Straight from Maputo Mozambique, she brings a powerful and joyful dance. Two workshops to explore more traditional Mozambican styles.

MARRABENTA – 13u-15u
A fusion of rich Mozambican rhythms and vibrant Portuguese folk music. Each step tells a story of strength and pride, empowering every dancer who takes the floor.

AFRO SWING 15u30-17u30
A journey into the heart of traditional jazz dance moves, where we uncover the beautiful connections between these two African rooted dance forms.
