For the first time ever in Antwerp: a full-day festival fully dedicated to one thing only:
a celebration of Amapiano.

What started in the streets of Soweto, South Africa – a township full of rhythm, power, and creativity – is now taking over the world through one unique sound: AMAPIANO.
This distinctive music style was born from the South African underground but has grown into a global movement.

Amapiano is more than music. It’s soul, style, and self-expression. It’s feminine, rhythmic, and uniting. It’s dancing resistance.
SOWETO arrives in Antwerp on 2th of August, with a festival that honors the culture, energy, and vibe of Amapiano as it should be: loud, proud & female-powered.
