“Sahara Koyo” is not just any concert. Entirely in line with music stemming from the Sahara region and traditions, Nassouli explores the styles and influences with the Marmoucha Orchestra: a festive concert with different musical disciplines from the Maghreb.
Mehdi and his Koyos come into contact with the spirits of musical ancestors through a hypnotic interplay of African, Amazigh and Arab influences.
The artistic team of Marmoucha Orchestra has put together a special repertoire with music phenomenon and Gnawa master Mehdi Nassouli in which authentic Gnawa, Malhoun, Andalousi and Maghreb pop pieces are accompanied by modern orchestral arrangements.
