The leader of South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters party, Julius Malema, has accused president Cyril Ramaphosa of betraying the country by forming a government of national unity with the DA and other fringe parties. This is in the aftermath of the 2024 general elections in which the governing ANC party lost its parliamentary majority. Julius Malema of the EFF was speaking in reply to the speech given in parliament by South Africa’s president a day earlier.
