Earth & Power (FR) :

Dub Foundry is a riddim maker and producer from France, founder of the label and sound system Earth & Power.

Started in 2010, Dub Foundry released his first records with I.Skankers Records, including « Don’t You Worry » and « In His Name » by Ranking Fox and « Ina The Ghetto » with Charlie P et RDH Hifi.

After many years of hard work in the studio, he launched his own label in 2017 producing international artists such as Mafia & Fluxy, Afrikan Simba, Far East, Ras Hassen Ti, Tom Spirals or Baltimores, then built his sound system with his friend Ranking Fox.

In Session, Dub Foundry plays his own productions, mixing traditional Roots music with modern sounds in an uplifting and positive style.

Afrikan Simba (UK) :

Hailing from Nigeria, award winning artist Afrikan Simba is one of the leading MC’s in London, having worked with top sound systems such as Jah Shaka, Aba Shanti and Channel One. He has also recorded with the likes of Jah Warrior, Zion Train, Dub Judah & and runs his own ‘Ayamba’ record label, based in Jamaica. Whenever he takes up the mic, whether live or in the studio, a flow of conscious, spiritual and uplifting lyrics are guaranteed.

Since 2015, Timothy, Rami & Phong started regularly attending soundsystem-sessions in Beljam.
Experiencing the culture, the vibe, and the impressive soundgear, these 3 good friends were instantly enamored by the reggae-soundsystem scene and declared: “one day, we will operate our own soundsystem.”
Now, almost a decade later “Not Surrender” is thrilled to present their soundsystem and musical journey to the people.
