All the way from Dakar, Senegal, we are proud to introduce: SAHAD.

SAHAD’s music is like a “bush taxi”, which travels the world in search of the richness that comes from our differences in order to share them. From afro to jazz, blues to folk and funk, all his African and cosmic influences have been reappropriated, giving birth to a kaleidoscopic music and exciting live performance.

However, the music doesn’t stand on its own. Its part of a large patchwork of projects that each provide concrete alternatives to the capitalist way of being, and aim to deconstruct and decolonize ruling perceptions on African music and African culture.

✊🏽 STEREO AFRICA 432

Stereo AFRICA 432 is an independent and pan-African music label based in Dakar.

The objective? To deconstruct the image of so-called “African” music and to propose a more adapted and equitable vision. Sahad wishes to support local artists who are off the beaten track,
who carry a strong message and who deserve to be recognised both in their country and internationally.

One of the most crucial problems today is obviously the immigration of young Africans to the West: young people in
extreme poverty, without hopes or alternative solutions, with a failing education, forgotten by their own governments in the face of the indifference of international institutions…

With Kamyaak, we try to say no.

We intend to bring back hope, to think, to choose and decide for ourselves what is supposed to be better for us and for humanity, but also to find stability and sustainability. We are paving the way for another form of education and bringing other perspectives to the conception of development in Africa in terms of environmental, social and cultural aspects.
