Van 22 april t.e.m. 7 mei vindt de 27ste editie van het Afrika Filmfestival plaats op verschillende locatie in Leuven. Het festival trakteert je op een veelzijdig, eigenzinnig en boeiend filmaanbod uit of over Afrika. Deze editie stelt onder meer DR Congo en de thema’s van Blackness en ecologie centraal. Ook jonge filmmakers en andere artiesten vallen in de prijzen op de YAFMA’s en Artist Awards.

From 22nd of April to the 7th of May 2022, the 27th edition of the Afrika Filmfestival takes place on multiple locations in Leuven.
The filmfestival offers an all-round and dynamic program with shortfilms, documentaries and feature films from or about Africa. This edition pays special attention to DR Congo, Blackness and ecology. Next to African cinema, discover young talent at the exposition, fashion show and the artist awards!
