D’Santiago verzoent de traditionele morna\, batuku en funaná met elektronische muziek en creëert zo een verfrissende en tijdloze sound waarmee hij Portugal stormenderhand veroverde. \nIn 2019 viel hij tijdens de Portugese Music Awards in de prijzen voor Beste Solo-artiest\, Beste Album en de Kritieksprijs.
