The film explores how Kuduro\, which blends traditional Angolan rhythms with electronic house and techno beats\, emerged from the discos and raves of downtown Luanda during the final decade of Angola’s civil war and rapidly spread throughout the country\, across the African continent\, and eventually around the world. \nThe documentary features prominent figures in the Kuduro scene\, including Tony Amado\, known as the ‘Godfather of Kuduro\,’ as well as artists like Sebém\, Bruno de Castro\, Nagrelha\, Titica\, and Cabo Snoop. Through their stories and performances\, the film showcases how Kuduro has become a source of inspiration for a generation of Angolan and African youth\, offering a means of expression and cultural identity. \n𝗜 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗞𝘂𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗼 serves as both a celebration of Kuduro’s infectious energy and a testament to its role in shaping contemporary Angolan culture. The film has been recognized for its dynamic portrayal of this cultural phenomenon\, earning accolades such as the Audience Award at the Inquietudo Film Festival in Austria and Best Photography in Documentary Film at the Cineport – Portuguese Speaking Countries’ Film Festival in Brazil. \n𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗮: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝘂𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗼\nNoite e Dia is a prominent Angolan singer celebrated for her emotive vocals and dynamic performances.
