So it’s about time that one of our favourite bands returns to GROUNDS. \nWhat started back in 2006 with two homemade guitars and a passion for Tinariwen’s music quickly turned into a worldwide sensation. Argentina\, Canada\, Japan or GROUNDS: Tamikrest shines like an oasis in the desert everywhere they go. Inspired by the rich cultural heritage of the Tuaregs\, they bring the poetry and language of the Tamasheq to life in a unique blend of traditional desert sounds and modern rock influences. \nIn 2020\, they released their latest album Tamotaït\, a raw rock record in which they reveal their reflections on the Sahara and their eternal longing for a free world in a mesmerising way.
