And this is without even mentioning his role as a virtuoso musician. It all started at a young age with a guitar he borrowed from some relatives\, mastering it thanks to the Ishumar songs he heard and videos of Jimi Hendrix\, Mark Knopfler and Jimmy Page he watched. Quickly it became clear the little boy (*bambino*) had exceptional talent and soon he was asked to join his first band. Bombino was born! \nHis electrifying jams capture the spirit of resistance and rebellion while echoing with guitar riffs reminiscent of fellow Africans Tinariwen and Ali Farka Touré.
