DESCRIPTION:Kasba biografie \nKasba brengt een spetterende melting\npot van Noord-Afrikaanse en Westerse\nmuziek. Dit samen met maatschappelijk\ngeëngageerde teksten en een\nbehoorlijke dosis ongein zorgt ervoor\ndat stilzitten er niet bij is als deze 8-\nkoppige band zich in beweging zet en \nhet publiek meeneemt naar Noord-\nAfrikaanse sferen. \nIn de laatste twee decennia\nontwikkelde Kasba zich tot één van de\nmeest toonaangevende bands op het gebied van de wereldmuziek in Nederland. Kasba werkte\nsamen met tal van artiesten variërend van Paul de Leeuw tot het Metropole orkest en van Frank\nBoeijen tot Bløf. In Marokko scoorde Kasba een nummer 1 hit en is de groep wekelijks te zien of te\nhoren op radio en TV. De band speelde op Lowlands\, Zwarte Cross en waren ze de afsluitende act op\nFestival Mundial. Daarnaast gaf Kasba verschillende concerten in Zuid-Amerika\, waaronder één in het\ngrootste theater van het continent in Bogotá\, Colombia en op het internationaal vermaarde Ollin Kan\nfestival in Mexico. In Nederland werden ze genomineerd voor verschillende prijzen\, zoals “Beste\nNederlandse wereldmuziek act”. In 2017 werden ze geselecteerd voor het internationale showcase\nfestival Visa for Music in Rabat waar ze een wervelende show gaven die live te zien was op de\nMarokkaanse TV Zomer 2018 traden ze op op het Timitar Festival in Agadir\, Marokko. In 2020 en\n2021 werden door de coronacrisis concerten geannuleerd\, maar gaf dit ook de ruimte om te werken\naan nieuwe muziek. Begin 2022 is dan ook de eerste single “Mama Walou” verschenen en de\nkomende periode zullen meerdere volgen.

DESCRIPTION:Wat gebeurt er als je een charismatische bassist en zanger uit Kameroen en ’s werelds toonaangevende niet-klassieke orkest uit Nederland samenbrengt? Kom naar Richard Bona en Metropole Orkest en hoor een ​​naadloze mix van muzikale werelden en stijlen. \nNet als het Metropole Orkest staat Richard Bona bekend om zijn liefde voor het mixen van jazz met zijn muzikale roots en invloeden van wereld- en popmuziek. Bona begon in Kameroen als een multi-instrumentalist\, de muziek van Jaco Pastorius inspireerde hem zich te specialiseren als bassist. Gedurende zijn carrière is hij constant bezig zijn muzikale wereld uit te breiden door samen te werken met artiesten als Joe Zawinul\, Salif Keita\, George Benson\, Chaka Khan\, Pat Metheny\, Quincy Jones en Alfredo Rodriguez\, heeft hij zijn muzikale wereld gedurende zijn carrière voortdurend uitgebreid. \nHet orkest en de bassist zijn geen vreemden van elkaar. Metropole Orkest nodigde Bona uit als solist voor zijn International Arrangers Workshop in 2013 en vond elkaar daar in de visie op muziek als universele taal. Na wederom het podium te hebben gedeeld tijdens de Quincy Jones Prom in 2016\, hebben ze nu het perfecte moment gevonden om te werken aan het creëren van een nog rijkere mix van muziekstijlen. \nMet het Metropole Orkest brengt Richard Bona orkestrale versies van zijn beste werk en nieuw gecomponeerde muziek.

DESCRIPTION:Bezwerende elektrische gitaarklanken uit de Sahara \nEtran de l’Aïr (‘sterren van het Aïr-gebied’) zijn helden van de desert blues\, de opzwepende woestijnmuziek die doorbrak dankzij bands als Mdou Moctar en Bombino. De musici roepen de sfeer op van Agadez\, hoofdstad van de rock in de Sahara. Ooit begonnen op lokale bruiloften\, bouwen ze vijfentwintig jaar later nog altijd de beste feestjes op de hipste festivals. \nTerwijl andere Toeareg-gitaristen westerse rock als voorbeeld nemen\, speelt Etran de L’Aïr in een pan-Afrikaanse stijl die kenmerkend is voor hun geboorteplaats. The veiled musicians evoke the atmosphere of Agadez\, the capital of Saharan rock. They started out playing the local wedding circuit. Twenty-five years later they still throw the best parties at the hippest festivals.  \nWhereas other Tuareg guitarists look to Western rock\, Etran de L’Aïr play in a pan-African style that is emblematic of their hometown\, citing a myriad of cultural influences\, from Northern Malian blues\, Hausa bar bands\, to Congolese Soukous.

DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for positive raggae vibes in Utrecht?\ncome dance with the lioness on 2nd sept in Zimihc theater Stefanus-Overvecht \nBorn 16-11-1989 in Kenya brought up in the Netherlands since 1995. Black Omolo has been making music since she was 5 years old. She came in contact with several different music styles\, when she was singing in the church choir and by taking private lessons. Growing up\, she listened to music by singers like Lauryn Hill\, Tracy Chapman\, Erykah Badu and Anouk (Holland). Black Omolo also got inspired by her Mother\, life\, ancestors and experiences. Omolo was getting more conscious about life. She got a Spiritual connection and started Living\, Feeling and Breathing Rastafari Energy. She got a sign and more connected to her ancestors where her spirit drove her straight into Roots Music. \nBlack Omolo started with singing backing vocals\, it didn’t take long for her to take her place as a lead Artist. Her Strong Appearance and energy was right there ready to shine!. \nWhile working with her Dutch reggae band ‘Gideon Grounds’ for 7 years\, Black Omolo Released her first Release called “LOVE YOUR LIFE” on November the 16th 2013. In Nov 2013 Black Omolo toured for 3 months in East Africa. In Kenya the Empress is rapidly taking her place in the hearts of her own people with her music hitting the airwaves and her massive live performances. \nAfter touching Europe in February 2014 Black Omolo Has been shining on different festivals and concerts in Europe Reggae Geel\, Zwarte Cross\, Amsterdam HMH Reggae Festival\, Mek It Burn\, Rototom Sunsplash\, Hootananny London and More…. \nBlack Omolo has been working with different Sound Systems like King Shiloh\, Black Board Jungle\, Black Rose\, King Alpha\, Pacha Mama and Many More. Recently Black Omolo did a collaboration with Warrior king to be released later this year. \n2015 Black Omolo did her European Summer Tour Called Love Your Life trough Denmark\, Austria\, Slovenia\, Czech Republic\, Belgium\, and Spain promoting Her EP (Love Your Life). \nOctober 2015 Black Omolo made her first trip to Jamaica\, Where she got the opportunity to introduce her music on the Island true Performances \, Interviews and connecting with different artist\, producers and studio s. Black omolo Recorded her latest Video More Positivity and did a collaboration with Exile D Brave & Kazam Davis\, soon to be released. Her 2 week visit was good spend with hard work. \nMarch 2016 Black Omolo traveled to Brazil with King Shiloh system where they had a 2 weeks tour in Sao Paulo & Rio de Jeneiro. In this tour Omolo left a good and positive stamp in Brazil. \nApril 2016 Black Omolo kicked of her 2 months Healing of the Nation Europe tour featuring Kazam Davis and Infinite two Artistes from Jamaica. The tour was a success in Acoustic and Sound systemwize. \nJuly 2016 Black Omolo visited the motherland (Kenia) where she warmed up the massive for her coming back tour December 2016\, here she will introduce her new Ep “Roots N Dub” to be released in November 2016. \nAugust 2016 Black Omolo made a next trip to Mexico with King Shiloh Soundsystem where they had 2 great shows and Recordings for new project. \nBlack Omolo has been working hard to spread the message and positive vibes all over the globe. For Now we are all waiting on her new releases\, EP (Roots N Dub ) november 2016. As well we are looking foward on the new releases from diffrent productions : King Shiloh Music\, King Alpha \, Higher Region\, Nyahbin\, Hardlife\, Omani padme hum\, Lions Den…. \nBlack Omolo is Growing More and More as she is preparing herself for more works around the globe. \nBeside the Music\, Black Omolo did study art culture and entertainment\, social work\, pedagogy & psychology. She is a wonderful Mother of a 9 year old boy. She started her own company involved in making natural skin & hair products\, which is part of her merchandise. On top of that she also does developments & charity work for OneloveSelfhelpgroup in Kenya & The Netherlands. She is an active and strong rising lioness\, ready to conquer the globe and reposition herself musically and culturally.
