SUMMARY:Kora Days
DESCRIPTION:𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼 & 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 ⟶ bit.ly/KoraDaysatBozar\nCome\, take part and dream\, discover more than 200 concerts : bozar.be/come-take-part-and-dream \nFour days… with strings attached. \nThe Kora Days are the first instalment of a new initiative by Bozar honouring an instrument during a series of consecutive concerts. For this first edition\, which will take place from 13 to 16 April\, Bozar joins forces with the greatest specialists in the field to turn the spotlight on the kora\, an emblematic instrument from West Africa. One of the legends has it that the kora was the instrument of a female genius living in the caves of Missirikoro in Mali. Today\, in company of leading players such as Bao Sissoko\, Sona Jobarteh\, Momi Maiga\, Seckou Keita and Mbady Diabate\, Bozar shows how far the kora has come without ever breaking the link with the ancient tradition of the Mandingo griots.

SUMMARY:Audio Obscura x Black Coffee at Van Nelle Fabriek
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, April 15\, we proudly invite you to a thrilling new chapter in our event history: an extended performance by Black Coffee in the legendary Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam.⁣\n⁣\nThe Grammy Award-winning DJ/producer giant\, who singlehandedly put his home country of South Africa on the global dance music map\, will be playing a DJ set at the iconic venue; a place where events like these are rare\, to say the least. For the Van Nelle Fabriek show\, a UNESCO World Heritage Site\, Black Coffee is returning to The Netherlands for the first time since his 2021 sold-out Maassilo event.⁣\n⁣\nTo play alongside Black Coffee that night is Rotterdam’s Cincity\, a revered selector who’s been making waves throughout the club and festival scene in her home country as well as abroad. Also taking control of the decks is Sona\, Black Coffee’s son who is fast becoming a trailblazing DJ in his own right.⁣ \n𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬\nPre-sale tickets will go live on January 24th (12:00 o’clock GMT+1). You can now subscribe for pre-sale tickets: \nRegister for pre-sale tickets: www.audio-obscura.com/pre-register \nRegular sale starts on January 25th (12:00 o’clock GMT+1).\n⁣\n𝐕𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐤⁣\nOnce described as ‘a poem in steel and glass’\, the Van Nelle Fabriek provides an optimal setting for Audio Obscura’s first live event outside Amsterdam’s city limits. Once the most modern factory in The Netherlands\, The Van Nelle Fabriek is still regarded as a marvel in architecture\, being one of the very first ‘daylight factories’. The profound history\, look and feel of the historic building make it an excellent fit for an Audio Obscura event. We can’t wait to go on this new adventure with all of you.
