DESCRIPTION:Programma\n19:30 DJ\n20:30 Inleiding Khalid Mourigh\n20:45 Tarwa N-Tiniri\n22:00 DJ \nTarwa N-Tiniri\, een nieuwe generatie van Sahara- en Amazigh bluesmuzikanten uit Zuid-Marokko\, zorgt voor een nieuwe impuls in de desert blues. Bedwelmende grooves en bijtende elektrische gitaren doen denken aan hun grote voorbeeld\, de Malinees-Berberse band Tinariwen. Daarbij verrast de jonge band met een betoverende banjo en traditionele instrumenten uit de Amazigh- of Berbercultuur\, die zich door de eeuwen heen over Noord-Afrika verspreidde. Veel songteksten op het debuutalbum Azizdeg komen van Amazigh-dichters. \nHet zes man sterke Tarwa N-Tiniri is afkomstig uit Ouarzazate in het zuidoosten van Marokko. In het begin was hun belangrijkste instrument een zelfgemaakte gitaar genaamd Lohtar. De band strijdt voor tolerantie en gelijkwaardigheid van alle bevolkingsgroepen in de regio. Dit komt ook tot uiting in de songteksten\, die gaan over het nomadenleven\, maar ook over liefde\, vrede en vriendschap. \nHet concert van Tarwa N-Tiniri wordt ingeleid door schrijver en Amazigh-expert Khalid Mourigh. Intoxicating grooves and biting electric guitars remind us of their great example\, the Malian-Berber band Tinariwen. On top of that\, the band adds a surprising and enchanting banjo\, plus traditional instruments from the ancient Amazigh culture from North Africa. Many lyrics on the debut album Azizdeq were written by Amazigh poets. \nThe six members started their musical journey together in 2012\, first with a homemade guitar called Lohtar. Hailing from Ouarzazate in the southeast of Morocco\, the band champions tolerance and equality for all communities in the region. The song lyrics are often about the social conditions of the nomadic people\, but also about love\, friendship and peace.  \nThe concert of Tarwa N-Tiniri is introduced by writer and Amazigh-expert Khalid Mourigh.
