Doordrongen van Caribische en Afro-Amerikaanse ritmes wist ze zich snel te onderscheiden in de wereld van de reggae dankzij haar talent als zangeres\, auteur en componiste. Samen met haar band The Wizards brengt ze krachtige rootsreggae met een sterke boodschap. Met haar spirituele teksten moedigt ze ons aan om ons bewust te worden van onze levensmissie en onszelf te verwezenlijken met menselijkheid. Ze herinnert ons eraan dat alleen liefde ons vooruit helpt op dit pad en ons in staat stelt onze diepste essentie te onthullen. \nSinds haar debuutalbum Warrior of Lights (2007) had ze al succes en met haar tweede album Deeper Revolution werd ze drie keer genomineerd voor de Cabo Verde Awards en was haar toon gezet. In 2013 richtte ze haar eigen label Sofia-Théa Records op\, waarop ze onder meer Freedom of the Soul uitbracht.
