De les begint met een opwarming waar de nadruk ligt op kracht\, flexibiliteit\, vloeiende bewegingen en isolaties met een groovy en ritmische basis.\nDe ‘across the floor’ oefeningen bestaan uit bewegingen beïnvloed door westerse danstechnieken\, traditionele dansen uit West-Afrika en de Afrikaanse diaspora. De les wordt afgesloten met een choreografie waarbij alle stijlen van Afrikaans tot westers door elkaar worden gemixt. Er wordt vooral op ritmes\, performance en grooves gefocust. Geen enkele Congolese band heeft een langere carrière uitgebouwd. \nIn de loop van een halve eeuw intense muzikale activiteit\, wist Zaïko Langa Langa een geheel eigen stijl te ontwikkelen\, die overal herkenbaar is. Die typische “Zaïko-stijl” is een mix van hyperritmische rumba en funk\, en zette menige discotheek in Kinshasa in vuur en vlam. Voor de Congolese jeugd was dit opwindende en bevrijdende muziek.
